About the Show
Cause wants out of the Law of Causality. Cause drinks… Effect gets drunk! Cause meets a girl… Effect gets to sleep with her! But some laws are NOT made to be broken. Cause is tired of being the one who has to make all the effort, when his roommate gets all the glory. When Cause tells Effect that his friends Random, Risk, and Coincidence have encouraged him to end their thirteen billion year relationship, and follow his dream to be a circus clown – mayhem ensues. This hilarious two-hander explores the nature of fate, karma, destiny, coincidence, synchronicity, and personal responsibility with a Mel Brooksian glee.
